Does the shield fit flush with the hood or is there a slight raised lip after installation? Is it secured with hardware under the hood?

It is held on by tape.
There's enough space to get your fingernail underneath but that's about it.
Had it for 2 months now. Went through rain, 2 car washes, and 1200 miles of highway driving so far.

Still no signs of lifting or budgin at all.

WeatherTech hasnt disappointed me yet
