Hey guys, looking to sell my beige/tan/desert dune 1999 SR5 4Runner because I am graduating college and will be getting a new one, and wanted to see if any of you guys would be interested in it at all. Id much rather have someone buy it who can take care of it well and get a ton of use. There have been two owners before me and all three of us have taken good care of it.
Overall, it is in very good condition. Since it is old, it does have a couple problems.
The good:
Relatively low mileage: 135,000
Clean body
Very minimal rust
Towing harness
Remote Start
Accident free
Clean record
Fuel and air filter replaced late last summer
-Premium sound system (stock speakers, $220 double din head unit, 2 x 12" Kenwood subwoofers, up/down toggle switch for power antenna) or I can take about $300 off the price if you want all stock
-Seafoamed the gas tank and engine last summer
The bad:
Power antenna is broke. (I think it’s the motor?)
Steering wheel vibration/shaking at high speeds
Check engine light is on. I will check on this but I’m 90% positive it is a minor issue because I am still driving this guy
No clock – I tried some soldering work with my EE buddy, but we could not get it working. (The clock slot now has the antenna switch.)
Only one keyfob (2 sets of keys though)
I would love to sell this to one of you guys, instead of trading it in or putting it on cars.com If you have any questions please ask me!
