I have a "Little Passenger Seats" 3rd row seat ordered for my 5th Gen. Seats 3 small people (2 shoulder belts and a lap belt). I have a Trail so no OEM 3rd row option.
I got this when the kids were young and it worked great for loading them up to go to the lake, etc. Takes about 10 min to install or remove (4 bolts). Now they're teens and too big for it.
I installed it rear-facing, which works well with one caution: on one trip apparently the girls were back there hucking chicken nuggets into the convertible behind us.
No way I am shipping this thing, so just a feeler if anyone wants to come to New Mexico to get it. I'll be heading to Denver in June and could take it there.
NOTE: This was advertised as DOT approved, but it's not NHTSA approved, FWIW.
Company is out of business but you can find install info online. Basically you mark the hole locations, drill pilot holes, take up the carpet and foam pad, mark the bracket holes and install nutserts/plusnuts. Then reinstall pad and carpet, making holes larger, and you are good to go whenever you want to install the seat.
This made the difference between keeping the 4R and buying a Suburban. Now the kids can drive themselves and their friends.
