FS : DAYSTAR 2" Front Top Out Spacer

FS : used Front Daystar 1" think Poly spacer for a 4th get 4R. This is a Top Out Spacer (no pre-load) that will provide 2" of lift for the front.

I purchased this from another forum member who was (and still is) mis-informed as to the amount of lift this provides. This kit is 1" think and provides 2" of lift. It comes with the original instructions and all (6) nuts/bolts required for installation.

What is required to install these? (Special Tools?) How long is the install for a 1st timer? Do these spacers make the 4runner level? Does it ride any different?

Thanks sorry for all the questions I have not messed with the suspension before.

Here's a link to the daystar website, there is a PDF of the install instructions there. It takes not special tools, there are a few threads on the board that mention the instal of a spacer on the front of a 4th gen.

From what I understand, this kit shouldn't change your ride drastically, as it is a top out spacer (no pre loading the existing spring - which does change the ride).

If you measure the fenders front and back, there will be an approximately 2.5" difference. This kit will make the fenders measure out close level - if that is what you are looking for.

There are a few guys running this kit on the board, but I never could find one with a picture. I personally want to keep a slight rake, so I ordered the 1" kit.

BTW - the spacer shown on the website says 1.25" lift - this spacer is really 1.25" thick and approx 2" of lift. also, the spacer in the picture is red - the real product is black.
 
Not to hijack your thread, but if anyone wants to assemble the complete Daystar front set, I have the lower ("preload") spacer for sale for $20 plus shipping. It is 3/4" thick and made of polyurethane. Both spacers together would give you somewhere around 2.5 to 3 inches of lift.
