FS: Extended Rear Bump Stops, 3rd Gen, AL, $105 Shipped

Hey all,

I made a set of these bump stops for my 3rd gen since the factory ones are too short to do anything after putting a lift with longer shocks on the back. LC 7.5 wraps and Black Tokico LC shocks in my case. I made a set of these for myself and plan to make 4 more sets of these for any members here who need longer bumpstops after their lift and are interested. After the first 4 are gone I may continue to make these if people are interested.

These will come fully painted and assembled, with new mounting hardware as well. Completely bolt on. All you need is a 12mm socket to get the stock bolt out that holds the OEM bump stop in, and then a 13mm wrench to install the new one in place of the factory one.

These are very sturdy and secure in the stock mounting points, the metal bracket is 3/16" steel. They're $105 shipped to the lower 48. If you are located elsewhere like Canada just let me know, I'm more than happy to ship to you, I just need to get a quote for you.











Versus the factory bump stops. These things are HARD, there is no give to them at all, and they obviously aren't long enough when you are running a longer shock than the factory ones.

Bumpstops in action. You can see they are touching the axle in these pics, doing their job perfectly. The driver side tire had just started to spin here so she's all the way flexed out in these pics.

Great! These are no where near as hard as the stock ones. They actually have some give to them. They're a polyurethane bump stop and with the air space in-between they do compress some unlike the stock ones that are rock hard like you said. You can kinda see it in the last few pictures I posted that they are compressing a little. It's hard to see in those pics since it's so hard to get under there and get pictures while the truck is flexed out. I think it's the perfect mix of soft and hard. They are soft enough that they give a little, but not too hard that it is just going to come banging down on them.

Bump! Have you had any problems with the bump stops rotating under heavy wheeling. I know in past ive seen where they will just end up moving around without anything welded to slightly wrap around the frame. Kind of like this. That lip will keep them in place. Just for future reference if you have this issue. Easy fix.

Hey, just now saw this somehow... I haven't had any issues with them rotating. They're very tight on the mounts and can't be rotated at all by pushing on them. I don't see them rotating since the only force they will see is vertical, and most of the time when they are in contact it's at slow speeds fully flexed.
