This mirror is 100% plug and play with no modifications needed at all. Adding this mirror gives you homelink garage door buttons and a built in compass, as well as auto-dimming like OEM mirrors do. Comes with the mirror, wire cover and instructions for install and homelink/compass setup and calibration. Well worth it for those without OEM homelink and an easy way to add it instead of buying an OEM overhead console with the buttons.
