Greetings T4R community!
I finally took the plunge and put 285’s on the 4Runner so I’m hoping to find a good home for my gently used 265’s. Details as follows:
BFG KO2 (4 tires)
LT265/70/R17
C Load
Black sidewall / White sidewall
Purchased from Discount Tire on 2/15/2020 (have original receipt)
Tread depth remaining: 13/32 (15/32 new)
Miles on tires: 12,578 (162,212 odometer at install / 174,790 odometer when taken off)
Alignment on the truck is kept up, tires were rotated at 6K/12K, and PSI was set based on chalk test at time of purchase so wear is extremely even. No curb rash, rock chips, etc. One tire has been patched. Small screw was the cause of the puncture. Tire was repaired professionally. Not a plug. Tire was taken off the wheel and repaired from the inside. Attached photos show both the repair and the small hole generated by the screw. That was a year ago and no issues since.
Checked Discount and Tire Rack to see current prices for this size ($252, $258 respectively). Closest used example I could find on eBAY to help set baseline was $130 for a single tire with 11/32 tread remaining.
I’m asking $135 per tire (selling as set of 4 only).
I am unable to ship, but I’m happy to drive a bit (30-40-mins) to meet up if that makes it easier for someone to pick them up. I’m in Gainesville, FL. Each tire is in a new, clean, plastic tire storage bag so as long as you have space in your vehicle, no need to worry about the tires messing up your upholstery. I tried to show all the important details in the attached photos.
