FS: M416 Trailer w/ Roof Top Tent

Our family is selling our Camping/Overland trailer setup. This is a hard decision because we have built it exactly to the point we envisioned when buying, but is currently being underutilized due to family scheduling with kids and I hate seeing it not being used.

The trailer is a 1967 m416 military trailer, completely refurbished and customized with full length steel fenders and aluminum height adjustable rack. Registered in Florida as home built trailer as it does not have the original military plates. This trailer tows phenomenally on and off-road when loaded properly. We also have a CVT Mt. Rainier Extended (3+ person) Summit Series Roof top tent attached. The tent is in excellent shape with no mold or damage to any of the tent. It easily sleeps 2 adults and 2 kids (which is what we do) and comes with full awning and floor. This is CVT’s top of the line tent in this size and has the upgraded mattress, interior led lighting and USB ports, diamond plate flooring and heavy duty canvas construction.

Features/Included parts:
- Upgraded 3500lb dexter axle
- New hubs and drums connected to original and functional parking break. Equipped with electric breaks but the wiring has not been run.
-4-pin electrical harness with 7-pin adapter.
-Spidertrax spacers adapting to 6 x 139 lug pattern (Toyota hub centric spec) with 17x7.5” FJ steel wheels with gorilla locking lug nuts. With the spacers removed it is a regular 5x5 Jeep hub bolt pattern.
-265 70r 17 Falken AT3W Load Range E Tires.
-Custom Steel Locking lid that can be opened from either side. The lid also has vehicle cross bars installed that originally was able to hold the RTT before we designed the rack. The lid can also be easily removed by just taking off all of the locks and the two internal lift struts (although it’s pretty heavy).
-Custom Aluminum Rack height adjustable rack that is bolted on to the fenders and tub. The rack can easily be removed for cleaning/painting etc. It is raised with 4 gas lift struts and a little muscle (I can easily lift it by myself).
-XO 750 Black Series extreme off-road jockey wheel that works in conjunction with the original pintle hitch and landing leg.
-20lb propane attachment point on tongue.
- 2” rear receiver
- 4 husky stabilizer legs
- CVT Mt. Rainier Extended Summit Series Roof Top Tent with full awning room.
-Full Pintle hitch setup.

We have had the trailer and setup for a year. It is an awesome “Overlanding” setup and has had no trouble following our 4runner on or off-road wherever we have taken it. We have put about 2-3k miles on it since getting it last year, most notably driving almost the entire Blue Ridge Parkway. When not being used the trailer and tent have been garage kept, thanks to our HOA.

Looking for $6500...this is with the Tent that retails for $3000 new. It would be hard to find a more stoutly built trailer with custom lid and height adjustable rack.
