This OEM or dealer-installed Toyota alarm system includes a microphone with glass break sensor, as well as an intrusion alarm.

Sorry, but I don't know what your particular vehicle might have installed on it. The RS 3200 Plus alarm system was a Toyota factory or dealer installed option.

My own 4Runner, a 2008 Sport Edition has a flashing red light on the dash, but it does nothing --> there is no alarm system at all tied to it. It's just a flashing light, end of story. I believe the way you can tell if your 4Runner has an alarm system is to use the remote to lock the vehicle, then unlock a door with the key and open it. If you have an alarm, it should go off.
