About 5% of the 3rd Gens that you will look at in a salvage yard will have these in them. Of course, if you are only looking at 96-98 4Runners that percentage will drop to Zero . These are very hard to find - most of the time they are missing. These OEM rubber inserts are the finishing touch of a very visible part of your center console. They keep your cup holders clean and separate the two compartments. You can easily lift them out for cleaning with the rectangular block in the center.
I scrubbed this one with soap and an old toothbrush for about a minute to get them presentable for a photo. As you can see it is in very good condition. They will clean up even better than this. They will look even better if you use different cleaning products. When they are installed in your cup holders they are in shadow in a sunken area and any rubber parts not cleaned perfectly won't show up anyway.
