Selling my radio. It’s a compete set.
I had this in my non-JBL 4runner and really enjoyed it. I then pulled it and installed it in another JBL 4Runner, but because of the JBL transition problems, I ended up scrapping the project and dumping JBL and going aftermarket.
Parts you will need to make this complete:
Comes with
-Radio
-Nav Box
-GPS antenna
-Pt546-00120-AD
-Pt546-00120-CH , also has an extra wire for the reverse signal if you want to add a camera.
-Microphone
Problems:
The radio has a small scratch visible in the first pic.
Second, the nav. I mentioned this was in a non-JBL 4runner at first and never had any issues. When I plugged it into my JBL 4Runner the Nav was sluggish and wouldn’t keep up with the car. I don’t know what the deal with that is. So I would recommend if you have a JBL system, look elsewhere. I had it for a few weeks in the car, and the nav never worked right. So this is just full disclosure. I have no reason to believe the nav box is broken, but for whatever reason it’s some sort of incompatibility with JBL systems. There was another thread where a JBL guy was trying to get his scion nav to work and it had the same symptoms as mine.
I also ended up drilling holes in my OEM stero brackets in order to mount the nav box under the radio. If you don’t want to do that, you’ll either need to buy scion radio brackets or figure out another way to suspend the nav box under the radio.
