I pulled this oxygen sensor off a '98 4Runner and this was its front sensor. There is nothing wrong with it as far as I know. The only reason it got replaced is because I was (and still am) getting only 15mpg on my truck, I decided that the o2 sensor might be the culprit, but it wasn't, because after replacing mine with a new one from http://www.urdusa.com/ I didn't notice any mpg improvement. Yet, I am satisfied with the new one and will just keep it in there and want to sell this one because I don't want it sitting around for another 120k :wink:. The one on sale never threw any CEL codes either.
To the extent of my knowledge, this oxygen sensor has never been replaced (I am the 2nd owner) but it might have. Assuming it is as old as the vehicle, it has ~120,000 miles on it. It's still in good condition, for a used item...no rust or anything, just normal signs of having been used (see pictures). The connector is also in perfect condition (see pictures). The only thing that is so-so is the gasket which could be replaced, but I don't know where to get seperately, and I really don't think it's worth the hassle especially since this one can be reused without problems.
