I am selling my roof rack set-up to buy a Yakima hitch mount bike carrier instead. Includes item and hardward to carry 2-bikes atop your 4Runner using the OEM roof rack. (Yakima makes specific mounting clips for this). This is the Lockjaw edition where a jaw grabs hold of the frame and then 2 clips hold the front and back wheel to the tray itself. The bikes are going no-where.
I have used it many times to lug 2 mountain bikes coast-to-coast with no problem. Purchased it for well over $250 back in the day (about 8 years ago) so my loss is your gain. Item is in excellent working condition with only minimal sun fade wear and tear. No missing parts of broken pieces.
