Fuel Filler Door Part Help

I have been having issues with my fuel filler door. When you pull the lever under the dash, the door does not open. To open the door, the lever must be propped up and the door must be pried out. Today, I noticed this piece sitting on the edge of the door:

I stared at the door for a while and just cant figure out where this should go. Can anyone snap a picture of where this piece sits when installed?

That's why your door won't pop open, that's the spring.

Yeah, I knew it was the spring that would push it open, but I just couldnt figure out where it went.

Yep, the little tabs that hold that spring in place had broken off. Nothing a little CA glue couldnt fix!

the tab completely broke and I can't find the rest. Is this something I can buy at Auto Zone, or the dealer. If so what does it cost?

I was looking for pictures of the spring in place when I found this thread.
I have the same problem only mine seems to be missing totaly.
