Fuel Injector

Does anyone here know the type or part number of fuel injector used on a 1991 V6 4runner and maybe what other toyotas it was used on.

Few of mine are in need of replacing and it's hard to find a 4runner at a wreckers that hasn't already been stripped of parts.

Thanks, well those other models listed arnt names I recognise in Australia.

What is a post code in the USA I can pop in on that site to check the prices, in AUS we have 4 digit post codes, looks like it's expecting a 5 digit number.

Wouldn't mind seeing what price you guys pay for new ones.

Pretty sure the prices are going to vary from postal codes here in the US. One code will have it for one price and 30 miles up the road it would be different. 27501, 27509, 27504 are some examples of codes that we have.

Awesome, thanks for taking the time to help. After checking the prices and dollar conversions the prices are almost the same. My local shop has the injectors for $150AUS each.

I found many times parts are cheaper to import from the USA but looks like this time it wont work out for me.

Don't replace, have them cleaned and balanced. They'll be better than new, because they'll all match. Runs about $20 each.

Would there be worn parts in them after being 20 years old ?, I intend keeping the machine for many years and thought new would be better.

And I also had the on car injector clean done two times and after a while they go bad again. But the problem at the mement is the one at the front closer to the dizzy is leaking. I run LPG normally and had to unplug the power from the fuel pump to keep driving it.

Injectors are pretty simple devices, especially the old ones used on our engines.

My engine was 22 years old when I had the injectors cleaned and balanced. They came back looking brand new, and 2 years later still work great. When they clean them, they replace all the seals, then make sure they all spray evenly, something you will not get with brand new ones.

I will think it over about them being cleaned when they are removed, they charge a fair bit more for cleaning here by the looks, $45 each. It's still cheaper then new but the costs getting them to take em out and put em back in is still the same. I can't do it myself cause of a bad back, can't lean over cars anymore.
