Looks like it. If gas comes out when you open it you'll know for sure!

If you're talking the manifold off it's much easier to disconnect it there IMO, and no washers to replace.

What are you trying to do? Are you trying to take a reading of the fuel pressure (diagnostic reason) or do you want to install a fuel pressure gauge for inside the cabin and you are looking for a place to mount the sensor/sender?

I'd imagine you could rig up some fittings at that joint that will let you install your sensor/sender if that's what you are looking to do.

If you are just trying to take a one time reading (for diagnostic reasons), you're better off just getting the banjo fitting adapter that lets you hook up a standard fuel pressure gauge to the fuel rail.

I suspect my fuel pump is on it's way out and wanted to install a pressure gauge to monitor it to confirm before attempting to drop the tank.

It seems that line is an easier option than at the front of the rails, which has limited real estate and requires removing the front cover.

I have yet to research the gauge options so I am undecided what setup to go for.

May I suggest that before you separate that fitting to install a pressure gauge, be sure you have a t-fitting that has the correct threads. I looked into this a few years back and could not find a metric fitting - that's 14x1.5 thread.

So, you'd need a fitting with male threads that size on one end, female on the other, and probably 1/8" pipe female fitting in the middle, that being he thread size on the various pressure gauge kits I found.

I never found such a fitting. I invite corrections if I have these sizes wrong.
