I am creating myself a small website which I can access on my smart phone that I will use to log my fuel consumption on my 4Runner. The "site" will then tell me what my economy is on average and also by fuel type.
I know there is a lot of software out there that does this, but I find most of them very convoluted (and some you even have to pay for) ... so I figured I could just whip one up that does exactly what I want instead.
In the future I'll be adding a maintenance log feature to keep of maintenance done as well as notify when other common items need to be done. Additionally I think it would be fun to make a system that would predict when you'll need to fill up again based on your previous driving habits. So that'll eventually get built into it.
If there is any/enough interest I could make it so other people can use it as well and give out access to it. Just reply here and if there is enough interest I'll do it.
Will be no charge of course and will be accessable from any device with an internet connection and browser.
