fuel problem plz help guys

well my check engine light came on and the code indicated that i am getting to much air and my computer is not adjusting to the air to mix it up with my fuel i lost miles and i was 17mpg on a 17gal ful tank now i am hitting 15mpg on a 17gal ful tank and may be less it varies what can i do and should i even take it to dealership oh and by the way i do have k&n fipk 2 cold air intake installed. any ideas plz help and my 4runner has 142000 miles

System too lean is not an uncommon problem especially with an oiled filter, over oiling is guaranteed to cause this DTC.

While the Pcode that you posted in your other thread does not match any actual code that I know of The System too lean is the clue.

Try cleaning the MAF sensor. When coated with oil or otherwise dirty it senses low air low, the ECU cuts fuel to match the metered air, which reads lower than actual thus too lean once burned.
