fuel pump / junk yard question

Dad is going to the wrecker to find a 1990 4runner fuel pump, he told me to ask if he cant find any , will other 1990 toyotas in the wrecker fuel pumps fit? for example there is a 1990 camry there... which fuel pumps ( in other cars ) are interchangeable in a 1990 4runner

Check like rock auto for part #s for each car, that will show you (theoretically) if they're interchangable

You might to pull the pump out first, there is a break in 1990, and two types after that. Be prepared, you might also need a pressure regulator. Went through this with our 1990 4runner last year. I installed a Kyosan pump and Denso regulator from autohausaz.com(no affiliation).
