Hey guys,
My name is Tyler and i am fairly new to the forum and had a couple questions. I picked up a '97 4Runner from a close friend really cheap and have had it looked over mechanically and fixed everything there and is in good running condition. My issue is that the center dash cover over the radio/heater/clock is fine, but the plastic mounts on the actual dash it goes into are ALL broken. So my question is, has anyone else run into this problem? How'd you fix it? Can I remove that entire dash piece and replace it? Let me clarify some, the radio mounts are fine as are the heater/ac unit mounts it is just all the plastic mounts that hold the dash cover in. This is going to be a hunting vehicle first and a project vehicle second, but this is something that needs to be fixed by or before deer season. ANy help or info would be much appreciated!! Thanks!
