Fumoto oil drain valve?

Has anybody put a Fumoto oil drain valve on their 2003 4Runner with V8? I wonder what size do I need (F-103 or F-104)? Their web site www.fumoto.com isn't every clear. I always had Fumoto valves on all my cars. It makes oil change so much faster and cleaner that I want to put one on my 2003 4Runner in my 1st oil change.

anyway... interesting.... i prob won't use it though only cuz i'd be afraid that i'd bang something up and something might hit the valve and open it... yikes

Odds are prob slim but who knows.... the way i drive and the places i drive... $hit can happen... hehe

Thanks for the info. I think I will get one since the drain is up in the skid plate behind that little plastic door. I sent them an email asking specifically which one to buy for an 03 4 runner. Let me know if you already know the model number.

I was delighted to see that the oil filter on my v6 is in easy reach!

That Fumoto valve was extremely reliable. I installed it on my 1990 Ford Bronco on its 1st oil change when I bought it brand new (that was 1990). I did offroading too and it stayed there until I sold it 2 weeks ago. Not a single oil leak and I didn't even retighten it in 13 years! (It's not that easy to accidently open it as there is a spring loaded latch that you have to push it up first and turn)
I didn't hesitate to install it on all my vehicles (my wife' car, my motorcycles etc...)

Please let me know what they say. I looked at their web site and it looked like all Toyota 93 and later use the same one: F-103 (you can choose to have the one with a nipple or not. I don't)

Anybody knows if the 4.7 V8 has the same size drain plug as the V6?

I was just at Autozone and Fram is making something new similar to the Fumoto. The difference is that there is no lever on the Fram, you have to screw on a hose to the installed valve. When screwing on the hose a pin in the center opens the valve and the oil drains. When done you just unscrew the hose and the valve is shut, the there is a cap thet you put on the valve. I, like good times, was concerned about the lever accidentally being flipped.

I bought one for $12.99 and will try it on my next oil change. I'll take a pic tonight too

Hmm....It is nice to have one...it will be useful if I change oil myself. Then I will need to buy a lift equipment. Wonder should we do a group buy on this product?

I can change my oil easily without lifting the truck at all. BTW I just returned the one I bought at Autozone and got it at Pep Boys for $9.99.
