Future Mod List

So I am still currently searching for a somewhat "low" mileage manual transmission 98-2000 4Runner (Harder than I thought) I come from a line of little honda tuner cars so this is a different world for me. Very excited to say the least.

My Plans:
The truck might go off road here and there but mainly a daily driver averaging 20 miles a day Monday-Friday. So the mods I do to this may seem ridiculous to most who only mod for performance only. Yes a lot of the mods will be for looks but hey... I know how much everything costs and that's what I am trying to achieve.


Lift:
I think i want to achieve about 5 inches.

im running around 4-5" of lift.
Check out my build thread at the bottom of this post and my body lifts. Ive got them cheeper than toytech. I shipped one out this morning.
 
My opinion: Don't body lift. Suspension lift for dayssssss

But if you do, buy from him because he's a boss^^^

Have fun getting the lower bolt of your shock back in with the UCA hard pressed against your spring wanting to pop your upper ball joint out. In other words, no, you cannot put a 2" spacer on top of a 3" coil/strut lift.

you cant. and dont try. the max u can do is 3 in suspension and 2 " BL for what your looking for.

CV axles can take a bit more then a 3" sus lift but ball joints suffer around that angle unless you get control arms with built in angle correction.

Go with your plans. 3" sus lift and a 2" body lift.

thats the way to go if you want to go that high.

I'm running 5-6 on mines but that's because I added a 3" suspension to the 3" body lift I already had when I bought the runner
 
As soon as I find her I will be posting pictures fellas! I will also pull the trigger on my mod list all at once :D

how do you like your 3" BL? I just figured even a 5" lift would be a little much for a DD but hey what ever it looks bad ass lol.

5" isn't too bad, I'm running just about that on 33s around the city. Maybe it's impractical but I love it haha. What part of ny are you from?

WHy wouldn't you just buy the Sonoran Steel 1.2 kit ($1200) and the LR UCAs ($400) with your $1600 instead of all that OME stuff?

Its the same price ... I'd recommend the SS 1.2 as its worked out great for me and quite a few others on this website.

Personally I'd recommend a 1" BL not 2". I'm running a 1" and its perfect and my truck looks awesome. With 2" I figure the GAPs and bumper lines will be pretty offset.

Thanks for the info. I will look into that. I figured there were 50 different ways to go lol.

Maybe I will look at some 4" lifts and see how I like them. I think I will be going with 33s also but not 100% yet
 
I'm running a toytec 3" and 1.5 bL, and 35's

The SS 1.2 and then adding a 1" BL is essentially a 4" lift.

So basically look at pictures of my truck from the last 9 months.
