I might be coming into some money soon and I'm probably going to invest it in some sort of money market or savings fund so that I can get my new ride after I graduate (I'm getting my associate's in web design - and have a few people holding positions for me.)
First I'd like to find out the best way to invest money in the 5 digits with a quick return and the capability to draw out within 12-18 months.
I plan on purchasing this ride with cash. No financing (insurance would be impossible)!! The dealer is gonna crap his pants at the idea of a kid (will be 23 or 24 when I purchase) writing a check for their first new car.
I'm more than likely sticking with Toyota for my vehicle choice, I've got over a year to decide. I need to have something with 7 passengers, and really would prefer to have something with 4WD... So that leaves me with the 4Runner and Highlander. I was considering the Pathfinder but I'm really dissappointed in this new design. Its just NOT hitting it for me...
I just don't know whats out there that has 7 seats/4WD all in one.. I've also considered Subaru, but I don't know..
I will be keeping my 95 SR5 for the hubby to drive (he's younger than me - and uses public transit)....
