Yes that and Thai's G500 being G500 of the month, along with a little BS. I was amazed how members took the proposed change to share this forum in stride. We (administraters and moderators) talked about what to do and we first came up with the Ford Pinto forum, but that was a little too obivious in being a April Fools joke.

I hope we didn't ruffle too many feathers. (Now what should we do for next year?)

But I'll be damned if you are going to talk about my first car.........1971 Ford Pinto........:jester: Actually that is no joke. It was my first car and just happened to be the most dependable car I ever had. Thanks god I never got rear-ended. It had 268,000 miles on it when we finally sold it for $265.00. Original motor and transmission. But considering my brother and sister had learned to drive in it before me, that is pretty amazing. Don't get me wrong, it was a POS, but fun. One of the funniest things that happened with it was the "Slowest Drag Race In History". My cousin had a '72 beetle and we had been talking trash, so we met and settled it. I beat him by a fender, but I can honestly say snails race faster.
