Galvanize dipping exhaust?

Most of the muffler/tailpipes I purchased for my old 1985 Toyota 4-Runner (same as pickup)would only last 2 years whether it's Dynomax,Walker,Bosal,Merrit or any other mufflers sold by local muffler repair shops.
I am wondering if I puchase a new exhaust like muffler/tailpipe and front pipe and have them galvanized dipped would prolong the life of the parts.How much would galvanize dipping a front pipe and muffler/tailpipe cost? and how many years will my exhaust now last?.Thanks.

I dunno about galvanizing and all that heat. Maybe an exhaust specific coating such as Jet Hot would be better?

Plus, how do you coat the inside of a muffler? I suppose you have to dismantle it or cut it open.

I ran a stainless steel Borla cat back system on my Runner for 12 years. Had a million mile warranty. Stupid shop "supposedly" misinterpreted my instructions to fix a leaking joint and replaced the whole system with an el cheapo, non-DOM bent, POS system. It really choked the heck out of the engine. Oh yeah, whaddaya bet one of the mechanics' friends is running a Borla on his pickup truck now? But I digress...

Ended up gatting a full stainless cat back system from NWOR. Only had it about three years now, but its doing OK.

Hey, one of this site's Google ad participants sells Borlas exhausts. There was a link for Borla exhausts at the bottom of this webpage when I first opened it up. JEGS I believe was the name of the company.

LC Engineering sells a stainless exhaust system, including muffler. I have it on my 4Runner. I only drive it a few hundred miles per year so I'm not a good one to ask about how long it will last but it looks like the day it went on after one year.
