Garage door opener

I have an 08 sr5 W/moonroof. but no garage door opener. Does anyone know if it is prewired to be able to replace my maplight assembly with a new on that has the garage door opener in it? Or am I looking at a much bigger project? Thanks in advance guys!

It can be done, as I changed out mine. Simple plug and play, takes about 5 minutes. Only problem was the part was 80 bucks from the stealership,part numbers here:
63670-0W030-B0 - Gray without sunroof
63670-0W040-B0 - Gray with sunroof
63670-0W030-E0 - Tan without sunroof
63670-0W040-E0 - Tan with sunroof

i wish my apartments opener could be programmed without having them "unlock" the keycodes for me to program. My parents garage door and what not works great, but i cant get the apt one to work.

80 bucks is steep.... Did you get a discount or is that retail price?

I installed an used opener from an ebay purchase in my sun visor on my c5 corvette and it was not cheap after all said and done, even though I did it my self... I ened up buying a new sun visor cause the texas sun more or less turned the old visor into dust... no over head conolse in a targa lol
