I recommend the autorouting kit - unfortunately, I bought all that stuff separately.
The City Select software is a must for highly detailed maps. You download certain regions from your PC to the Garmin. It depends on your area but for me, the whole state of Louisiana fits in the Garmin's memory, otherwise, you usually download the regions along your route.
Even if you miss a turn, the City Select will reroute you based on your present location.
The 60C is transreflective, so you can see it very clearly even in direct sunlight. It is backlit but using the backlight uses up the battery so the cig adapter is a must.
The 60C's screen isn't as large as the units designed for auto use only but it looks great if you mount it high.
Probably the only thing wrong is that the City Select locates my house across the street from it actually is.
