Gas mileage with Revo 3's

I'd be curious on this too, as I'm watching the Revo 3 to possibly go back to the Revo brand if enough people say good things about them.

Are they the stock size and do you think your MPG has gone up or down?
Yeah they are stock. Good looking tires I think but they definitely handle different than all season. More drift on the highway and don’t grab as good when you hit rain puddles. I also upgraded to TRD rims at the same time. Haven’t had them off-road or I’m snow yet. Mileage went down maybe 1 mpg at the most.

Yes, they look good since they have those little side markings which causes them to look beefy! I surprised you don't find them as good as your previous in dry & wet, but coming from an all season tire that may be the case (although Revos are marketed as superior in wet). The lower MPG, again coming from more of a highway tire, is probably to be expected.
But they probably also won't disappoint you offroad or in the snow!

I've been running Revo's on everything for over a decade. First, the Revo 2's on a 4Runner and Land Cruiser, then Revo 3's on my current 4Runner.
I can't comment on MPG drop because I don't have anything to compare it to. Since buying my current 4Runner in 2015, I've been running stock sized tires (265/70). That is changing today - getting a lift and moving up to 285/70 - Revo 3's, of course.
Surprised to see your comments about performance in the rain, because that's one of the areas they consistently get good ratings for an AT/LT tire. I don't have to worry about snow here in AZ so the rain performance was important to me. They've always felt very sure-footed on all my vehicles in rainy conditions. The reason I keep buying them - they don't sound or feel like an LT tire on the highway and around town; long lifespan; offroad performance is very good. I've never been in an offroad situation where they let me down.

A fellow Valley of the Sun person! What kind of longevity are you getting with the Revo 3? I, like you, ran the Revo (one & twos) for many moons, but didn't get good longevity with my last set of Revo 2s. The Revo 3 was too new the last time around, so I jumped over to the Yoko Geo (a very good tire, BTW).

What's up, neighbor!
I got 65K on my first two sets back in 2006-2010 (or so) with the Revo 2's. The second set on my Land Cruiser only went about 55K. The set of Revo 3's on my current 4Runner have about 45K on them and still have some life left (maybe 6-10K?). I'm only getting a new set due to changing tire size.
