gas mileage...?!

I have a 1997 4runner and I am curious about other 97' owners mileage. I am currently getting around 13mpg.... I am pretty sure my calculations are wrong (or that wheeling KILLS my gas) so any feedback would be great thanks guys!eace:

I used to get 16-17 mpg 50/50 city/hwy on my v6 2wd 3rd gen. Right now I'm averaging about 20 mpg with my 3rz 2wd but it's also manual - 70/30 - highway/city.

I got 26.5 mpg driving to go wheel in Arkansas (nice tailwind I guess) and then after wheeling I had 13.5 mpg.

I have a 97 standard, I do 20% city, 80% highway and I get 19.4avg
