gas pistons on rear hatch

looking to do some maintenance or replace the gas pistons on my rear hatch of my 08 SR5

they work, but they work real slow and I want them to be a little quicker. when I open the hatch it takes a decent amount of time for the hatch to open fully.

looking to see if any of you have replaced yours or adjusted them. if so, did you buy new ones, where'd you get them from

Same issue.

I just replaced the gas springs on a friend's camper shell. Got them at Napa for roughly $40/ea. They also sell a set that will fit the 4R which I'm going pick up next week.

p.s. you'll need the min and max length and the pounds rating (usually printed on the strut).
