That's what I paid in mid-February in Sacramento. I wish it was still that low here. I don't think we'll ever have less than $3 gas in the Bay Area.

Just under $3.00 per gallon in Grand Junction, CO. I haven't needed gas for awhile, so haven't bothered keeping an eye on the prices. They have been going up every week, according to the local TV news heads.

3.89 for 87 here in San Bruno CA at the typical station....down the street it can be had for $3.45....so you tell me its not inflated because of variables other than the actual cost of the fuel!
