$3.29 here in Sactown.

$3.29? which gas station? i always pump mine @ Del Paso X Natomas Blvd Shell. only a mile away from my house. other than that, i know Chervon on Truxel X Natomas crossing is pretty expensive.

Fuel Prices

Here in the central part of VA, unleaded (87) is $2.85 to $2.91 at most stations. This is about a 12-cent jump in the past week or so.
:sobbing:

What I find odd is that most people still have yet to change their driving habits. Few people car-pool or ride the bus, and "rush hour" still conjures up images of lemmings going into the sea. I have not changed any of my driving, either, although I may use the Sentra instead of the 4Runner if prices go much higher. More likely (in my case) is that I'll just cut back spending on something else rather than driving fewer miles.

Diesel fuel has risen all the way up to $3.19 to $3.29 in our market. I'm a trucker by trade and think that a lot of the owner-operators are really going to be taking it in the shorts. Think about it, folks; a rig that gets six miles per gallon costs 50 cents per mile just for the fuel.....let alone the driver's income, tires, maintenance and the truck payment itself!! Most over-the-road trucks hold 150 gallons on each side, which means that filling both of them with diesel fuel costs more than $900.
:bash:

Times like this make me happy that I'm a company driver and don't have to pay for the fuel. That being said, I would say that it is a safe bet that any employee raises or increases in salary are going to be put on hold for now.

We're going to see the prices of many goods going up, up and up -- as the expense of transportation will be escalating. Ships, trains, planes and trucks all use petroleum-based fuels.

You folks on the West Coast are really getting hammered worse than the rest of us, however.

At gas prices exceeding $100 per barrel , you ain't seen nothing yet !!

About 3.19 here per gallon as of 11/08/07

Here in Eastern Pennsylvania gas prices have risen 38 cents a gallon in the last two+ weeks.

As of today (11/08/07) prices are :

87 = $3.059
89 = $3.159
92 = $3.299

Diesel = $3.599

real****ulous. the 76 at the corner of Northgate went from 3.18 to 3.39 in one day. cheapest in sac to my knowledge is arco at howe and west el camino at 3.19 plus 45 cents if you use a debit.

$3.36 for regular in Kansas. No worries here, I'll just ride the cow to the local bank or store. It gets 20 miles per feed and no gas needed.

Stupid gas prices. It's getting too dang cold for me to ride my bike to work regularly now, but at least the new job is less of a commute. Next bike will have some heated grips and seat!

Yeah sactown is out of control on gas. Do you guys ever foresee gas prices going back to 2 or even under 2?

Just filled up my Ram tonight, 2.99, 3.09, 3.29 for 87, 89, 91 octanes respectively. Costed me exactly 75.00 to fill up, 25 gallon tank, was pretty damn low.

I run 89 in my Ram just because I have a Mopar Performance PCM running the engine and part of it's tune is to advance timing, so I have to run at least mid grade to deter detonation.

Luckily my commute is only 3 miles from home. 9 stoplights though. I go through a tank of fuel every 2 to 3 weeks now.

Still, I'm looking into alternatives because it's just effing rediculous. If gas hits 4 bucks a gallon, I WILL be buying a Scooter, or if I can find out how to make a 4 Wheeler street legal, thats my first choice. Even as little fuel as I use, I just refuse to pay that damn much for it to burn through my Ram on a regular basis. Bas****s. :bash:

.....

same here, 3 miles per trip. that supposed to help me save some gas money but who knows, my wife's been taking the 4R to work which is ~23 miles PER trip...... gosh... just filled my baby up last night @ $3.49 top 20 gallons. that's another 70 bucks again!
i hope she will take the 4 banger Accord to work tomorrow....

Damn it, this season is going to be expensive for snowboarding. I use public transit for work now, so I save some there and don't have a clue of recent gas prices. Last time I filled up it was $3.09, I'm sure it's gone way above that.

yea, prices here in SAC are a joke. Luckily for me, a couple months ago i moved only 2 miles away from work (used to be a 20-mile commute), so now i only go to the pump once every 2 weeks, filling the tank only half way (at these prices)...:nono:
