Yes it is Wed and it is getting better. Months ago I suggested that in Oct we'd see sub $90/barrell. I stand by that.
If we (as a nation) commit to real energy policy that doesn't rely on the Russians or the Mid-East we'll be secure in our currency and econimically for the many years to come.

Lower gas prices
Can't believe CA has lower prices than UT. We just started to dip below $4/gal this week. And even then I've only seen one station that was less than $4 and it happened to be $3.999.
You gotta love it when the national average is $0.22 less than what you're paying locally.

Come the new year prices will steadily go over $4/gal and may even continue well over $5 by spring/summer and that will be nationwide unless something really changes with our driving habits.
The problem is IF we ever saw under $3/gal people would just start driving bad low MPG vechiles all over again.
I am happy to see prices close to $3.70 around Denver.

Couldn't agree with you more RonMAIDEN. Just mere election year influences, it won't last. Exact same scenerio two years ago when seats in Congress were up for re-election. It was $2.35-2.50 from December 2006 to about February 2007. Then it just steadily climbed right passed $3. It'll probably stay low until early next year and it'll go right back up to where it was. People will whine and complain about it as it goes to a new high and after a few weeks, it'll quiet down and the new high is here to stay. Sadly gas, like milk, bread, or toilet paper, it's something we can't give up easily.
If the price goes down great, a little something extra in the bank. I don't expect to see it less than $3.50, unless we've got some magical potion that can run almost everything that gasoline does for the same price and readily available.
But it will soon go down, it has some changes as of now but we can't really feel it. Fuel has been so bad this days, it's really too high.
