Gasoline Question..

To any Canadian T4R owners, What type of gasoline do you guys use for your Truck? As for me, Im using Shell midgrade 89 Octane, My 99 t4r runs fine with it but right now the price of gas is going up,Its a $1.24/L now and for Shell midgrade its 6 cents more a liter. I want to start using just regular gas with 87 Octane on my t4r. My honda civic run very poorly with Shell 87Octane and regular gas from mohawk but with the shell midgrade 89, It runs ok and thats why i always use shell midgrade on both my vehicles thinking if i use regular gas on my t4r,it would drive poorly like my civic.How about the gas from COOP and DOMO, Are they any good? they offer up to 7Cents off a liter?

I never put anything other than 87 in my 4Runner. I have owned both the 2.7 and 3.4 and both run perfect on 87.

Use the lowest octane you can that doesn't prevent knock. We have an altitude disadvantage up here so I'm able to run 85 which is like 87 at sea level anyway.

i put shell regular 87 Octane on my truck yesterday, my tank was lower than a 1/4 tank and I filled it up. I dont know if it just me but my truck feels like it shake a little bit at idle but the rpm needle doesnt fluctuate at all, just steady at idle, i notice a loss in power too(but not quite sure. i dont know, i just take to much care of my truck probably too much thats why i want it to run perfectly all the time but nwayz thanks for the reply guys.
