no thats how they came from the factory wherever he ordered them.

and the climate was murder today. 40mph cold wind and a drizzle.

it was only like that cause i wanted to work on the runner. otherwise it would have been the usual 90 degrees and not a cloud in the sky.

also...please don't complain about that wind! we get that wind, and it hit -40 C this winter with the windchill...i think that is about -40 F!!!!

IDK I think theres bromance in the air awww....lolz! But yeah they look really good. I think they really pronounce the front end with the kinda two tone like black and silver.

They're aftermarket, I'm not sure what brand, I got them from eBay though. They are the only ones I've seen with a clear side reflector. I don't know where you can find them anymore, all I see available is the orange reflector.

They seem to be good quality and had a better beam pattern than a pair of Depo lamps I tried before them.

yea you can. but i didnt have a back up pair, and i didnt trust myself not to screw up. and if i messed up i would be out of a vehicle as its my DD. so i took the safe route.

Gaterose, i did read your edit. and i didnt think you would take it litteral, it was mainly for the other readers.

as for the quality. i find them to be lighter than oem. which doesnt make a difference to me. i love them. i didnt notice a difference in beam or anything. and the clear side reflector is awesome. overall they are awesome. end of story. :jump:
