Gathering Lift Info

So, I've got a '99 SR5 3.4L 4X4. I'd like to have it lifted come spring, but I'd like to gather some info now so I can source out the parts I need.

In essence it's my work dd - so the ride quality needs to be decent. That being said I have the rear seats folded down 80% of the time and it absolutely loaded with tools. Probably 2-300 pounds worth at it's heaviest. But on weekends it's a people carrier.

I'm also in and out of some poorly routed job sites so a little more clearance would be nice especially in the snow/mud. Compensating for the extra weight is my primary concern - without having go-kart suspension.

I've never lifted a vehicle before, only dropped them.

Any info - recommendations - opinions - would be greatly appreciated.

If you don't wanna go too high but want just enough lift and extra carrying capacity then I'd recommend TRD Tundra front spring and shock with 890s in the rear with a Bilstein shock. My set up.

I ran the 890's and found them to be alot bouncier than my LC Coils. Not to mention, any amount of weight, and the rear would start to sag lower than the front.

I would say, TRD Tundra Strut Assemblies for the front, and get some 8 wrap LC Coils. I'm currently running this setup, and find it rides really nicely! That being said, you'll have some rake when the truck is unloaded, and will probably be pretty level once it's loaded with all your tools........

Thanks guys, really appreciate the input.
I did read through the lift FAQ, I just wanted a few opinions on what seemed to work for them. It has helped me narrow it down now and I'll start looking around.
