does anyone know of a company that makes A pillar gauge pods for our trucks? i would like one with 3 ports/pods. looking to add some gauges like oil pressure, vacuum, volts

Lotek is the one I've got. They only make a 2-pod for the 3rd gen 4-Runner though...

yeah thats all that ive found too, them along with auto meter... but still only a 2 pod. i wonder if i could put the single pod stacked on the double pod to make a triple...? any thoughts?

Here's a good shot of the Lotek pod in my 'Runner.... You can see that the only place to stack an additional guage would be up top... but you'd definitely have to do some dremel work to make things look even halfway decent.

sorry to bring a somewhat old thread back but i bought a new toy and was wondering if i could get some input from yall. first of all, the toy 
its the aeroforce scangauge. Its dang cool, and i cant wait to get it hooked up. anyway my question is do you guys think i should try and color match the gauge pod?
Its gonna look like the TRD boost gauge in the above pic, I kinda like the black on tan, my interior is already almost complete with that theme but i'm not sure if the gauge pod will look better in tan. what do you think?

what's up kid,
I recall a 3rd Gen on this or another T4R forum which had adapted a Honda or Acura 3pod to fit. It took some finese and dremeling but it worked. It's gonna take some searching, sorry I don't recall the forum or have a link for ya.

Retrofit a Tundra or Sequoia Dash in your truck.
It has oil, volt and if you also grab the overhead console, you can get MPG's (I guess the main reason for a vacuum gauge) unless your going for the ricer look.

Ya i wanna know more on the swap from the sequoia/tundra... but there is a universal 3 pod gauge that i saw a guy with a 4runner put in a 3rd gen and it seemed to fit almost perfectly, cant remember where i saw it but i know u can use the universal one they sell on ebay. Thought bout doing it myself too but just nvr got around to it.

thanks man, i was playing around with it in the daylight today and the contrast actually looks pretty cool. where did you get your pod at?
BTW to anyone interested, i bought my gauge pod from summit racing, I found one for 2000 4runners. I guess it fits a T-100 too which is weird, but this thing has about 3/4 of an inch of overhang on the pillar, but after some trimming it will be a perfect fit.

i got my pod from 8sm i think, cant remember for sure at the moment, i got it used...

Console or 'A' pillar
I haven't decided on which one to place my Trans temp gauge I'll be getting from Autometer. Autometer also makes A pillar pods too.

IMO if you plan on looking at it all the time, do the A-pillar, If you plan on just looking at it periodicity, do the console. both of them look good!

the guy only guy who ever did it is gone... its like a lost language now... its going to take someone else to put for all of the labor and knowledge as singtoe was the only one to do this... it was a great loss losing him...
