Owner's manual says 75w-90 hypoid in the front diff, 90w hypoid in the rear. Can't find 90w anywhere, especially syn. It's a Florida truck so I don't have to worry about cold weather viscosity - can I just use 80w-90? Any suggestions?
You'll be fine with 75w-90 or 80w-90. I've run RedLine 75w-90 in front diff, x-fer case, and rear diff. I currently run RedLine ShockProof (equals 75w-250) in the front and rear diffs, and 75w-90 in the x-fer case.
