How many quarts of gear oil are needed to replace all the diffs?

Buy 4 for the rear and four for the front you will have some left.

Koz: The rear capacity is 3 qts
The front is 1.5 qts so you need five quarts total

The drain plugs torque spec. 48ft-lbs
The fill plugs torque spec. 29ft-lbs
Also the front diff on mine required a 10mm Hex-key for one of the plugs. Don

I found these quanties,

Front diff - 3 pints
Rear diff - 6.5 pints
Transfer case - 3 pints

Transfer case drain and fill torque - 27 ft-lbs

Any pictures of the procedure?

How about some pictures of the fill hole and drain locations? I have done all the drivetrain lubing on the driveshafts after seeing the write-ups here, it was easy to do after knowing where everything was and how to approach it.

Do you guys use ramps or jack stands to raise the truck? Which side needs to be jacked up to get the oil to drain most?
