i recently purchased my 1st 4runner and when i did my 1st gearbox oil/transfer case oil i noticed that the transfer case had a lot of oil in it (a lot more than it should) it has lead me to believe That the seal in between the 2 has gone.
i know this is quite a pricy job but have recently been told that you can run a tube from each filler plug that transfers the oil back from the trasfer case to the gearbox when it gets too full or over full..
has anyone heard of this being done??
is it a good solution or does it create more problems..
any experiences with this would be great.
