Gearing for truck?

Hey guys so I have a 91 runner 5 speed manual. I recently put 35's on it from the 33's I had. Slight problem though. When I'm offroading in it and climbing a hill it will bog out on me and i get pissed lol if the hill is steep enough. That is w/out 4wd of course. So my question is what gears you Recommend for me? I've heard everything from 5.13 to 4.88 even a 4.10 but i know 4.10 isn't right because that's what I have now. Any response is appreciated thanks!

haha i have the same question bc i have 33's and in 4wd mine does the same thing if the hill is steep enough...i know i have one of the 4runners that came with 4.88's so any responce would help me as well

Yeah like idk if it's a gearing problem or if it's more of a performance thing?

I currently have 529 on mine with 36 boggers, I have no complaint, it even takes off at the light in second gear.

Is that 529's on front and rear or just the rear? Sorry noob question

You have to have both front and rear, otherwise the front stock will pull the slower rear. If you don't intend on using your 4wd then just the back. Here is an example of gearing.
