i have got a 96 4runner sr5 that i recently bought, the 4runner has the factory 4.10s in it. since buying the runner i have installed the toy-tec ultimate lift and a set of 285s. question is, i have a new set of 4.56s rev rotation 7.5 gears for the front of an ifs pickup 86-94? i bought them for my 89 pickup that i sold and would like to re-gear the 4runner for the new tires so i need to know if these gears will work in the 96 ifs front end or has something changed.. thanks in advance

hmm, if they're reverse cut then maybe but why you bought reverse-cut gears for your early pickup is what's throwing me off. The difference between the two are that the front diffs in these 4runners are high pinion, which in short require reverse cut gears.
