twitchee2 Member Jan 20, 2007 #1 Hi, I'm fairly new here, I drive a 96 sr5 2wd. The stock tires are 225/75/15's I was wondering if the gearing is the same in all 4runners and the computer just compensates the speedometer to the smaller tires then say a 4x4 version? Thanks.

ovrrdrive New member Jan 23, 2007 #3 not only that, but if they use a different sized tire in a package or something they just recalibrate the speedo so its correct. I know superlift sells a black box to fix the speedometer...
