geez - wasps & bees!

To the left of my front door there is an entry point for bees. The nest is somewhere low in the wall. They are big bees!

Take a couple more steps and in a crack in the cement in front of the garage wasps have a nest in the ground.

I've been sprinkling an incecticide (basically just borax) for weeks now, and I am sick of waiting! everything I do I've got these darn wasps all around me. Not great!

Any solutions besides borax?

Call a professional!!!
They've got high-power versions of the chemicals and they'll apply the right combination of them to end the problem sooner.
You'll have to open the wall (either inside or out) to get the bee hive out, as the honey will eventually make its way through the drywall.

I agree, call the pros. I had hornets find a hole under one of my dormers once and you could hear the damn things from the inside if you put your ear up to the drywall. 85 dollars later the problem was gone. They had the equipment and chemicals (some kind of a powder) to eliminate them "right now". Seriously, as soon as they put this stuff in there were hornets falling out of the hole dead and every one of them that tried to go in the hole later died too.

Needless to say, as soon as you are satisfied they are gone you need to eliminate the hole to prevent future problems.

I wouldn't try that until after they're gone. Some bees and hornets will chew through the drywall to get out a different way.

basically is a high volume foam
a short quick spray and it will expand into all cracks and deep under groud
sorry i havent used it in 3 or 4 years......but its worth looking for

Probably not want you want use under the circumstances jacal described, unless there's no chance of the foam expanding enough to blow out an interior wall.

We used some kind of foaming RAID for bees/wasps/hornets... it seemed to work, just waited until sundown when the bees were dormant. I didn't use it since I am allergic to the insects, but they are all dead and the nest we had in the yard is now destroyed.

For a nest in the house though, I would definitely call a professional exterminator.

Well I got some references at work and called a pro. DONE overnight and super cheap - $45 bucks.

Frustrating because the first place I called (over a month ago)didn't want to send someone out and told me they would just dust, that is all that can be done so I should DIY. I called them 2 weeks later, said it wasn't helping, and they said give it more time. Then when I called them last week they finally suggested someone come out!!! At that point they lost my business permanently.

Glad it is over. And I have a 6month guarantee.

Glad to hear you got rid of them. The price sounds good too, especially if the price you paid is in Canadian dollars. Now you need to make sure the hole gets sealed up so they don't come back at a later date. I doubt you'd have any more problems this year because it's too late for them to be looking for new places to nest. However, next year you'll be at risk again if you don't get it fixed.
