I rarely see anyone running these or ever being recommended, so who is and how do you like them?

Pros/cons anyone?

I just placed my order for some 285/75/16 and they are on backorder till may. Although I don't have first hand expirence I have done some research on other sites. Decent onroad, great on sand and dirt, no rock experience. Mileage depends on driving habits but i am hoping for 30-40k but wouldn't be suprised if I got 25k as they are "designer" tires

Only person I know who has them on here is MillerPKA. Not sure how he feels about them. They look great, I know that much.

Well ive talked to Miller bout them a couple of times and he loves them and says they are one of the best tires he's used and i plan to get a set of 35s sometime during the summer.

Can you only get that size in E load rating?

I saw a post in MillerPKA's for sale thread where someone commented on the tires. It seemed he may have these tires also but not sure if that's what he was saying or not.

Yeah, I'm just wondering where he's taken them since his purchase and how well they do in a little mud. I expect they would be fine for what I need but would like to know more about them.

2 fairly major con's for me- when they are new you look like a ricky racer with shiny red letters and when they get a few months old you have tires with faded red letters that look like crap.

I did a little research and the red letters are only on one side so you can run them black side out. All the trucks I have seen them on locally have them red out and I can't stand that.

Although I don't think I could do the red letters out, just having the option would be cool.

FWIW, I saw in a 4 Wheel Parts ad where certain sizes were considered "black letter" and others were "red letter". So maybe depending on tire size they come one way or the other?

yea i also saw in 4wheelparts magazine that the black sidewall is more expensive than red sidewall...i could be wrong but i think thats what i saw.

cool looking tire..but i'd still take the KM2's anyday for looks

I was contemplating these tires before I bought my MTZs and I hear they are a great tire, but they are super heavy. I think they are like 14lbs heavier than the km2 (in a 315/75/16)
