Geolander's vs Khumo Road venture SAT

I'm looking to replace my current Geolander's and am torn between these 2. The current tires still have lots of tread but are 4 years old and getting very dry and as a result are not performing well in rain and snow.they have about 30-35k on them.
I don't go off road but drive through some snow in NJ and pull a 5k lb trailer a few times a year. I want them to look the truck part but be quiet on the highway. I made that mistake before w Bridgestone Duelers.

The Khumos look pretty mean and I've had good luck with them in the past on my track car. Don't know anyone who's used this model before though.

The Road Venture SAT KL61 scored well in Consumer Reports recent A/T tire tests including the noise category. The Kuhmo KL78s scored the highest, traction wise, but were louder. The Geolander A/TS was also louder than KL61 and didn't score as well in snow.

IMHO, I'd go with the Geolandars. I had a set of Road Ventures on my F150, which is pretty decent on tires. I've gotten 2 sets of Geolandars as well.

The Road Ventures lasted MAYBE 30K; the Geolandars lasted 50K apiece. I liked the way the Road Ventures rode, and the way they handled, but they wore too fast.
