I figured it was time to start a thread for my rig. This truck is the first vehicle I have actually worked on. It has been a great experience learning what I am and am not capable of doing! I thoroughly enjoy reading all the info and decades of experience that is on this forum. The best part is getting out in the truck and seeing what it can do with the people who wheel here in the lower mainland. I have not posted a lot so bear with me.....
We bought the truck a year ago bone stock. It had 175Km.

This is the first time I've seen the amber in the running lights blacked out. It looks good. I've seen it on a few other trucks but never a 4R. How exactly did you go about doing that?

Hey man
I popped out the corner lights and taped off the amber lens with painters tape. Sanded it a bit to rough it up, then used a product called VHT nightshades. Its a spray can and you can vary the darkness by how many coats you do. Then i unplugged the bulbs and put the corner light back in. Hope that helps. And Thanks

Thanks eh. Ya the dent was a present from the last owner. I have yet to do damage other than some big scratches. I ordered sliders from 4x innovations so a bumper will have to wait. It will be a badlands rear bumper in the future though. Nice work on your switches mod!

We explored a bunch of trails around the west side of stave lake on the last few trips. I think vedder mtn is next on the list. Check out BC4runners on fb there is usually posts for trips on there. Good group of guys.

Got my sliders delivered today. They look great. Hopefully get them welded up next weekend.

Got some Hella micro de fog lights mounted under the badlands bumper. Hopefully get to test them out this weekend up in Whistler.

Your write up on your sliders was my inspiration. The expanded mesh was the option they gave me instead of the solid plate. They look beefy. Thanks for the idea!

Couple of updates. Got my sliders welded up. Went wheeling on the weekend and blew my rear axle seal. Spent some time today fixing that and its good to go now.
