Getting my 4runner armored

Hey everybody!

I've got the 4runner back, and it definitely feels a bit heavier, especially up top (as most of the weight comes from the armored glass). The final increase in weight was 213 kilos.

I finally decided on getting EBC green brake pads and as of now I love them. Much better brake pedal feel. We'll see if I need to do anything else to the braking system in the future to keep it that way.

Some of you are asking about the cost... well it's pretty much the same as what the car costs new in the US (and that’s with much cheaper labor costs here).

and the final product getting a good wash after she was all done. I'm really happy the way it came out, really can't tell the difference in fit and finish.

On another note, I feel like it rides a little harder than before so in a few days, if I don’t get used to it, I may need to get some recommendations on suspension setups... I hope you guys can help me out hahaha

did you get the performance brake kit or the tow brake kit? this looks nice!

I've understand some forum member installed Tundra brakes. I'm running Rotora big brake kit to handle weight of bumper, skids, roof top tent, fridge, etc,. Works fairly well for mountain driving here on the West Coast.
