Getting new wheels & tires same time.. move over TPMS?

This is a pretty stupid question but I have been thinking about it for some time, so thought I’d still ask.

I’m planning to get new wheels and tires and install those at the same time. Should I ask the installer to move the TPMS from my current setup over? Obviously this would require them to disassemble the current tire/wheel setup, would they charge for this? I would probably put the old set on a 3rd gen 4Runner so it would make sense to keep the tires/wheel together.

I am thinking it’s a lot of work to disassemble the old setup, take out the TPMS, and then reassemble them, but maybe it’s not a big deal since that’s what they do all day in the garage...

Would it be better to just purchase new TPMS for the new set?

They would probably charge its more labor but why ask us? Simple 5 min phone call would get you the $ amount. Then you can compare what is cheaper.
 
It's not a big deal, probably 10 minutes total to pop the front bead, unscrew the sensor, pull in a rubber stem and air it up. No good reason to buy new sensors for a 2017. If it was a 2007 and the sensors were getting close to needing replaced anyways it would be a different story.
