i have husky liners in my trunk area but somehow my dog still managed to get sand onto the carpet mat. what's the best method to get sand out? vacumming doesn't get all the particles as the sand sorta clings to the cloth, very annoying. maybe duct tape?
I don't know if this will help on carpet but powder seems to help in getting sand off of your hands. Maybe if you sprinkle that powdered Arm & Hammer carpet stuff on and then tried to vacume it would come up.
You could try using a stiff bristle brush to help loosen the sand, then make a pass with the vaccum. I have never tried it, but it might be worth a try. I would thing it would take several tries of each to get most of it out. Good Luck.
